CROSQ Validation of a Regional Training Programme
The TradeCom Facility, an ACP Group Programme financed by the 9th European Development Fund, has called upon BKP Development Research & Consulting to implement the project Feasibility Study for a Regional Training Programme for CROSQ.
A needs assessment has been carried out with a Questionnaire distributed to the CROSQ national stakeholders, the Standards Bureaux (NSB) and national Business Support Organizations (BSO). In this questionnaire the respondents have prioritised their training needs. 12 of the 14 CROSQ Member States have also been visited for interviews with the NSB and the BSOs. In these interviews clarifications were made and additional information was received. In the analysis of the needs a general gap assessment was done, comparing existing training opportunities with the prioritised needs. The proposed Regional Training Programme is based on three modules:
The proposed Regional Training Programme and a strategy for implementation of the programme will be presented and validated at a workshop in Grand Barbados Beach Hotel, Bridgetown, Barbados, Monday 6 December .Two representatives from each CROSQ Memeber States have been invited representing their NSB and their business sector.
